EKTRON 1412 is a versatile digital imaging camera system that provides4096 x 4096 pixel resolution at up to 12 bits per pixel per color. Theprecision stepping motor/lead screw mechanism assures precise positioningof the sensor for guaranteed repeatability from scan to scan. A built-indata normalizer board applies correction factors to every scan,eliminating the possibility of streaks and enhancing the quality of imagecapture. The modular, self-contained electronics makes maintenance easy,while ensuring signal clarity and higher dynamic range. The linear CCDsensor provides precise geometric reproduction of image data.EKTRON 1412's column-mounted camera delivers the flexibility to scan bothtransmissive films and reflective materials -- even 3-D objects -- incolor in a broad range of sizes.
